Job Overview:
The technical support manager will be responsible for successfully communicating with customers and develop support and implementation plans for the GIS and Mapping applications and services provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for Solutions Architecture, Project Management and Pre-Sales Technical consulting
· Leading the technical support team responsible for the communication, maintenance, and implementation of Geospatial projects.
· Consulting with clients to define need or problem, and advise alternate methods to solving problems, and finally providing the clients with technical offers to meet their needs.
· Preparing technical offers in response to tenders.
· System Analysis and Design.
· Designing data models, Data importing and transformation procedures between various data formats and coordinate systems to satisfy project requirements.
· Developing a system development and integration recommendations for clients.
· Develop Geospatial data maintenance methodologies to customers.
· Pres-sales activities (mainly preparing and giving presentations and demos)
· Project management activities
Requirements:
· At least 6-8 years experience in GIS and Mapping
· Higher diploma / certificates in GIS/Mapping is preferable
· Experience with various GIS software (preferably ESRI and Intergraph) for both desktop and web-based applications
· Experience in Integrating Enterprise Solutions
· Knowledge of new trends and standards of OGC
· Project Management skills/diploma is a preference
